The AgraQuant® Melamine Sensitive Assay is a direct competitive enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) esigned for dairy industry. Romer Labs® new AgraQuant® Melamine Sensitive immunoassay has been validated for dairy products such as milk, milk powder, yogurt and yogurt drinks. The test’s quantitation range for milk, yogurt and yogurt drinks is 0.1-5.0 mg/kg, and 0.5-25.0 mg/kg for milk powder. The AgraQuant® Melamine Test Kit by Romer Labs® is a direct competitive enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). It has been developed for the analysis of melamine in wheat gluten and pet food. It is also can be used for milk sample. AgraQuant® Melamine Test Kit has quantitation ranges of 10-250ppm for wheat gluten, 2-50ppm for moist pet food, and 4-100ppm for dried pet food, 2 ppm for milk and 10 ppm for milk powder. Each kit comes complete with melamine standards, antibody-coated microwells, enzyme conjugate, substrate and stop solution, etc. The AgraQuant® Melamine Kit is accurate; the results are comparable with published HPLC methods. The method is reproducible; consistent results have been obtained in intra- and inter-laboratory settings. The AgraQuant® Melamine Kit is very fast and can be run with 60 minutes total incubation time. Simple methanol/water sample extraction and no clean-up steps required make the test very easy to use.
